The Computer Science Master, proposed jointly by Université de Provence and Université de la Méditerranée, relies on the expertise of research teams at LIF. This two-year long diploma provides students with theoretical and practical tools for pretending at various CS positions: software engineer, project manager, researcher and professor (through a PhD thesis).
The first year of the Master can be attended either at Château-Gombert or Luminy, all teaching being duplicated. You can find details on the classes at (note that only second semester options vary between sites):
During this first year, students acquire all basic knowledge necessary for attending one of the two specialties in second year: fundamental computer science (towards research) and advanced computer science and applications (towards industry). Content of those specialties can be found here:
